5 members were present
The meeting opened with a prayer for serenity
[NOTE for the Record:
·         The Newcomer Pamphlet is in the hands of GSC, which has put it out to groups for comment.  The comment period will end January 10th.
·         We are currently writing reflection pieces for the Meeting Handbook.
Today’s Agenda Items

1.       We spent some time discussing the possibility of using project management (PM) software to track and communicate about progress on various pieces of literature.  There was a general sense that this might be good.  Some specific features that might be helpful were discussed.

One member volunteered to do research on various forms of the software, costs, etc.

2.       We had a discussion about a group of members who want to work on putting together material for a basic text.  There was a proposal to constitute a subcommittee (to include those already interested) which Xander will chair.   It was approved unanimously.

3.       In the process of discussing the previous items, there was a discussion about opening up the literature process as much as possible, how to connect and communicate more/better with the wider fellowship and how to obtain more participation from members in the process.  There was also the point made that the literature process is already very open.  In addition, there was a suggestion for us to consider opening up business forums so that progress on literature will be more visible on the forum.  This will be decided next month after consideration.

It was also noted in this discussion that anyone can write literature and circulate it, any group can use any literature, including what members write and circulate, and anyone can submit literature they have written to the Literature Submission forum.

The meeting closed with thanks all around.

there were comments about opening up the literature process as much as possible

I remember one comment about "opening up the process", one about opening up the forum, and several comments about how the process is already wide open.

I added a note that there were comments to the point that the process is already open, in addition to the specifics about that comment that were already there.  I remember that there were more than just a few comments, coming from a variety of directions.  The point about opening the forum is already in the notes.  Hopefully what's there is now a closer approximation of the discussion.
