* All who attend OOMG meetings on Zoom or Mumble are welcome to participate and vote in OOMG business.
* The business of the Original Online Meeting Group of CGAA is discussed. At our monthly business meeting, we make decisions by group conscience, guided by higher power. Everyone has a vote on group matters.
* Back and forth discussion of different perspectives is appropriate. We strive to be respectful of all.

I don't think we ever came up with a clear boundary between what is decided at the monthly OOMG business meeting and what can be decided at a mini-business-meeting for a particular meeting. The general idea was that most decisions are made by the entire group conscience but that specific format decisions that affect only one meeting would be decided by the regular attendees of that meeting at a mini-business meeting.
Examples of specific format decisions for a meeting:
Speaker, beginner, step, literature, or general topic meeting
Open to observers or closed (for problem gamers only)
Having longer or shorter time limits than what OOMG decided
Including a permanent reading every week
Examples of decisions that affect the whole group:
Anything in the OOMG format
Zoom or Mumble issues
The time slot of meetings (although a single meeting can be extended)
OOMG delegates, meeting leaders, and other service positions
Examples where it's not clear:
On one hand, changing the location (Zoom, Mumble, Jitsi, etc) of one of seven daily meetings affects the whole group and would be decided by the whole group. On the other hand, the whole group may decide to let each meeting's attendees decide their own location.
The OOMG business meeting is held monthly on a regular day and time. A mini business meeting is typically held just before or just after the recovery meeting.
Proposal: That we formally approve in writing the form of group conscience decision making that OOMG has been using since 2014.
